SAOCOM® MISSION
On August 30th at 8:18 pm, the Argentine Satellite SAOCOM® 1B was successfully launched, which will provide key services for the agricultural sector and applications in emergencies, among others. SAOCOM® 1B was developed and built by CONAE with the participation of VENG and INVAP companies and national organizations such as CNEA, being the result of the work and effort of more than 10 years of the national scientific and technological system.
VENG is the company designated by CONAE to market and distribute SAOCOM 1A & B IMAGES & PRODUCTS
Ground Segment
Veng currently has two ground stations capable of providing support for TT&C Services (Tracking, Telemetry and Commands) to satellite missions, launch vehicles, and data download services of satellite instruments from different missions.
Satellite Missions
Design, manufacture of parts, integration and tests of satellite instruments and components. Development and operation of control centers for satellite missions. Operation of satellite ground stations. Engineering for the development of ground station support infrastructure
Access to Space
VENG, main contractor of CONAE’s ISCUL Program(Satellite Injector for Light Payloads), responsible for the main stages associated to the satellite launcher Tronador II and III, covering the development of ground and flight segments, and associated critical technologies.
