Selective Electronic Detonator for Oil & Gas Operations
It is designed for perforating applications in both conventional and unconventional oilfield operations. Its compact size makes it highly versatile, as it can be used in side-ported guns from 2 ¾” in diameter or in any modular gun system.
The VENG SDES system allows each detonator to be individually selected to initiate the ETACORD-80 RDX.
Developed as a robust and reliable solution, it fully complies with API RP-67 recommended practices, classified within Group 2 electronic detonators.
EDS VENG is based on API-RP67 standard—
- The control unit allows the operator to manage up to 16 detonators.
- Designed to operate with standard wireline lengths from 3 to 8 km.
- Detonators can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration and individually selected for firing.
- The string can be verified through the Testing Unit without the ability to initiate detonations.
